When Industries are passing through a very difficult phase and their survival is at stake, a group of few vested interest individuals, with the backing of Bureaucrats are indulging in digging the grave in the name of heritage preservation. This digging is done to bury live industries, in the Hingna MIDC Industrial area, is this the demand of present situation? When the whole world is passing through a difficult phase of recession.

There are more then 200 industries most of which fall under MSME sector existing since more than 35yrs on the so called origin of Nag River which itself is disputed. According to the Irrigation Department the origin of Nag River is Ambazari Lake. It is really surprising how a group of imported experts can discover in the very first visit the origin of Nag River from Lava. A small stream of Nallah which flows from Lava carrying all sorts of Human waste, and garbage pass through, Wadi, Amravati Road and Hingna Industrial area and merge into Ambazari lake. Interestingly, residents and occupants of MIDC Hingna area have only this source of water supply including for drinking purpose under this situation, this stream of garbage should be diverted to some other Nallah to prevent Ambazari lake and origin of Nag River from getting polluted. MPCB has rightly recommended to denotify this area as whenever any area is earmarked for MIDC it is a denotified area. If some one wants to play mischief with this basic need, he is committing a murderous assaults on industries.
