Adopt cluster culture to overcome economic slowdown – MIA President
While addressing the members of MIDC Industries Association (MIA) Hingna, in his parting speech as President of the association on Sunday, Shri Mayank Shukla opined that to meet out the challenges of world over economic slowdown crisis, the industries should adopt an approach of cluster formation. “This cluster may be area wise or preferably product wise. At the same time it should not be aimed at availing only Government subsidy or grants but the industries of the same product or region should unite to work together in market promotion, raw material procurement, use of common infrastructure, upgrading the technology skill development and establishing their quality reputation.” he suggested.
This approach will help them in dominating their share in terms of quality and becoming cost effective and competitive to survive and perform well to sustain their desired growth.
With this vision in mind, MIA has developed various facilities like Test Lab & Research Centre, Guest House, Ultramodern well-furnished Conference Hall, and Training Centre. “Some of the facilities are fully developed and some are in process. Unfortunately members are either ignorant about these facilities or do not value its importance.” Shri Shukla said.
